Woodland droplet

Sold out £18.00

Made from a mix of nine different clays and finished with a glaze that separates into droplets around the rim of this cup feels very elemental to me. The marbling of the clays is like geological layers and the way the glaze detaches and moves in the firing feels like it is still in motion after it has set.

These pieces are weird but I love that about them. They feel very connected to the earth and to elemental forces. Great for a warm cuppa and a daydream.

This vessel is extra cool as it sits atop a droplet. Looks great in a shelf like the glaze is actually dripping.
