Candy frosting

These cups are thrown with a deliciously biscuit coloured clay and decorated with layers of thick white glaze that crawls into a fluffy white candy cloud texture.

I use a clay with mixed colours of buff and light tones that shows the twist of the pottery wheel process. In contast to the the sandy feel of the clay the glaze creates a wonderfully tactile sensation to hold.
