Moving rivers, water vessel

I’m always searching for my favourite pot throw- shape, weight and glaze are really important so I have been throwing a whole plethora of shapes and designs.

The way the glaze on this cup has melted into a combined drip reminds me of watching the flow of a river. Somehow it still looks as if it is in motion and the glassy looking glaze drips lower than the pot.

This can be planted up, used as a utensil pot or have a candle inside. The glaze drip means it’s best displayed on the edge of a shelf.
