Volcanic Vase II

This vase is one of two decorated in the same style. The clay and the glaze here have combined to make an organic looking but clean lined vase.

The cratered surface is covered in a grey/blue and then darker navy patches. The detail is one of my favourites! I have tried to recreate this technique but these two vases sold separately are the only two I could make.
