Spotty Mushroom Sculpture

Inspired by magical woodland nature designed to be happy inside.

I’ve handmade these ceramic shapes that celebrate the mighty mushroom but also how exciting glaze can be!

The long stem uses a crackle which makes organic patterns and shows the clay peaking through. I decorate the spotty tops with a vibrant matt red coating and then individually add thick white spots. The tops are removable from the bases to reveal a horror form which can be used as functional as well as decorative.
