When I moved into my first flat there were solitary bee hives in the attic which looked like little pinch pots hanging from the rafters, I have always loved the mindful ness and the relaxation in a pinch pot form so I let the bees inspire my makes. Mounting these unglazed clay forms onto wood begs you to ask what they are and why they are there, allowing your imagination to fill in the gaps.

Driftwood is nature at its best, the combination of forest and ocean that has been perfectly aged, polished by the sea and washed ashore like treasure. It's fun to find and creates wall art that can transport you straight on holiday.

Because they are 3d they change with the light and add extra interest to an interior, they also make a great talking point.

This piece is 26cm long 6.5cm wide and protrudes roughly 6cm from the wall.
