This big bowl brings retro school vibes!
I’ve made these note style bowls decorate underglaze pencil decoration and fired to Stoneware templates. I’m so happy with how these have come out and have worked hard to make each one striking and well finished. The buff colour clay matches school style lined paper and is fired twice up to 1,260 degree. It makes the glaze lines look so vibrant with the papery wobble and lines baked into the piece.
The bowl is decorated on both sides to be like lined paper. There is a circular mark in the bottom of the bowl from kiln gasses during the firing shown in the pictures.
