Naked Raku Bauble

All the magical art of a naked Raku pot but designed for your Christmas tree!

I’ve made a small batch of naked Raku baubles using the horse hair technique. Because horse hair would be too thick, our pug Egg donates his hair after a brush and helps makes these to make the fine lines. The black scaring on the ceramic surface happens when the hair touches the red hot bauble fresh from the kiln.

Each one is magically unique with the hair creating black patterns zigzagging across the white surface. Your bauble will be like the ones pictured but not exactly - a piece of art just for you.

There are two shapes of bauble. A completely round and a classic tapered drop at the bottom. Both finished with a metal loop and silver twine. Sold individually and around 5.5cm.
