Fuck Off I’m Gay A4 Print

Though Sir Ian McKellen first came out publicly in a radio interview, I love this story that the same year he wrote this iconic message - while lobbying against Section 28 Ian Mckellen visited the Conservative MP Michael Howard. Howard refused to change his stance but asked McKellen to leave an autograph for his children. He agreed, but wrote “F*ck off, I’m gay.”

I’ve made some limited porcelain letters with handwritten decoration commemorating how iconic this moment was and the continued queer rights fight. The prints continue this style but in paper form.

These high quality A4 digital posters are printed on thick 300gsm paper and so can framed or displayed without.

I’d like to continue this project telling stories in a written down ceramic form and these prints help make that possible.
