Baltic Raku Bauble

All the magical art of an obvara firedpot but designed for your Christmas tree!

I’ve made a small batch of Obvara baubles (also known as Baltic Raku) using a yeast solution to create the magic decoration. The retro looking brown patterns randomly occur when the red hot bauble fresh from the kiln is dunked into a yeast solution.

Each one is magically unique with the burning creating liquid looking marks across the white surface. They remind me of planets!
