The Scream Pier Vase

Originally a teapot piece, this one off piece has been converted to be a perfect vase! With engraved design and painterly glazed. The design wraps around the whole vase with care taken to make each part pop!

This piece is part of our Great Pottery Throw Down “pot along” where me and Dan create our home potter versions of each challenge week by week. We make them on the Sunday straight after the show and fire pieces ready to upload their pics on insta on the Monday. We like to think of them as one off concept pieces like 3d sketches, so they might be a bit rough around the edges in places. (Just like in the show) The race against time might not always create the most finished piece but it does light a magical spark that infuses every make with all the imagination, fun and creativity we can muster. We love doing the pot alongs and find they open doors to shapes and forms we had never considered before.

All of the makes we have listed from our pot along are listed as one of art pieces that are intended as non functional artefacts. Just pieces of our heart and imagination for you to enjoy.
