Micro Raku bauble

Made by heating the bauble to 960 degrees in the microwave and then our pet pug Egg provides the hair for the magic. In this kind of raku the hair leaves carbon markings as it burns against the side of the pot. Just like on pottery throw down! Egg even provided the hair for me during that challenge.

I love to do naked Raku (with the hair on the ‘naked’ clay body) it’s such an elemental and unique process with no two baubles ever looking the same. Something truly unique for your tree.

4cm diameter. A jingling sound is normal as clay might be inside. Your Raku bauble design is unique so will vary naturally from the pictures but always be in the same style.
