Engraved Vase

Celebrating 4 years since I left home to move to Stoke to start my Throwdown adventure that changed my life. Each vase represents my favourite styles from the series that I got to show and is completely unique.

The episode that was a blur to me through stress was a fruit bowl and ceramic fruit. I made a bowl based on cut glass and fruity cocktails (but it didn’t go to plan!). On this vase I get to show the look I was going for. I have painstakingly engraved tiny marks from the clay which the green glaze pics out. It almost looks like the surface of citrus fruit. This is one of my favourites from the collection and I don’t know how I found the patience to sit and engrave this much!

Vase is approximately 29cm and is for decorative use.
