Dragons egg

The glaze on these orbs has come out like the surface of a dragons egg. What will hatch?

I see these vessels as artefacts of my adventures with glaze, each one is different and contains a moment of discovery. I love to imagine that they are from a magical world under the sea and have washed ashore ready to be found.

Most of the pieces I make are handheld sizes because I love a pinch pot. On the Great Pottery throw down we also made a small seed pot in Acoma week so vessels this size have a special place in my heart.
